Who is Pierre Cormier?
Cormier is a versatile, complete running back from San Diego who is one of, if not the, top rated prep recruit in the 2013 class. Cormier committed to Arizona in early August and held firm to his commitment despite the wishes of his mother to take other recruiting visits.

Cormier did battle a few injuries this year, but led Madison to a CIF title and rushed for over 2,200 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Fast Facts
*Chose Arizona over Washington, UCLA, Boise State and Nebraska. UCLA was an early leader, and he admitted that he liked watching Oregon on offense.
*Teammate Lee Walker is also committed to Arizona.
*Cormier’s high school offense was modeled after Rich Rodriguez’s schemes at West Virginia.
*He played in the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl in Houston.
*Took an official visit to Washington, but cancelled official visit to UCLA.

Role At Arizona
Cormier is being brought in as an eventual replacement for Ka’Deem Carey, but may get a shot at playing right away. He and Zachary Green will come in and get a chance to compete with Jared Baker, Kylan Butler and possibly JT Washington to back up Carey.

“Give him an inch and he can take the whole field,” - Madison Head Coach Rick Jackson.
