Did Golson visit also if so any word on where he stands? I agree we cant lose Alford because he can and will contribute right away, but we got kids in our 2013 class that can give the same impact as Alford! Golson on the other hand is at a position where we lack Size and strength which he has both, so Im more interested in not losing Golson!

Agreed, Golson's position and speed and size are an immediate need... I hope we can keep both...
asu must of lied to Carrington... but if he can not see who actually passes the ball more by reading last years stats, must not be academically ready for the U of A... Maybe asu is a better fit for him...

It's a mixed bag on this one. The "feeling" is that both of them wanted one more trip together before announcing, plus Gibson did try to drag them.
The good news is, we will get the final pitch with them.
Stay tuned.
If need be, there is a LB we can get to fill for Golson, and we could get by without Alford, because we have two in the class who can fill.

Oh No doubt Alford I feel can be replaced by the likes of TJ Johnson, Grant, Lee Walker or Nate Phillips! Plus I thought Bryan Harper was the best Athlete in last years Class. We can fill his role but I would still love to have him because of his blazing speed!
Golson we absolutely need- Depth, Speed, Size and Strength! Friday needs to come with good news!

Don't forget JT Washington as well. Even with a possible LB replacement, losing Golson is tough.
