Rondae Jefferson expected to sign with Arizona on Thursday.
It could be a relatively uneventful signing day for the Arizona basketball program. With just two committed players, the Wildcats coaching staff does not have to wait on a lot of faxes, but they will have to wait.
Arizona is not expected to receive a faxed national letter of intent until Wednesday night. Guard Elliott Pitts is expected to send his LOI in sometime Wednesday evening according to an interview with his High School coach in the Arizona Daily Star.
The program is still waiting on a few players. Aaron Gordon visited Arizona a few weeks back and has the Wildcats in his top-five. Gordon has maintained that he will sign in the spring, but a verbal commitment prior to the spring signing date is a possibility.
Gordon did tell USA Today that he had the most fun on his visit to Arizona.
The Wildcats recently offered big man Kameron Rooks. Rooks has not said when he hopes to make a college decision and has not made an official visit to Arizona.
Arizona has a number of other scholarship offers out, but seem to have slowed down their recruitment of other players until Gordon makes an announcement.
