Arizona basketball recruit Aaron Gordon has a broken bone in his foot and will likely miss a good portion of the AAU season.
For an elite player like Gordon, missing the summer AAU season is not that big of a deal, but it is frustrating for the 2013 forward prospect.
“It’s awful,” said Gordon told KOB telelvision in New Mexico. “It’s going to be hard to be on the sideline.”
Gordon is considering the Wildcats, as well as New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, Kentucky and Kansas. Gordon recently said that Washington was his leader and his brother plays for the Lobos.
Gordon has a broken bone in his toe and is scheduled to have an MRI to see if surgery will be necessary.
The Cal-High Player of the Year in California as a junior, Gordon is planning on waiting until the spring signing period to make a college decision.
