The Cats have several questions they have to answer for next season.
I can answer one of these and I have another to pose.
The answer: Knat will never see much time again - I don't know if Miller lost his patience or just resigned himself to the fact that Knat is a horrible BB player, always had been, always will be. He does not appear to be lazy or unintelligent, just incredibly bad at BB. I do not believe that there is any hope of him developing at all. 5 points in the entire PAC-12 season on a team that DESPERATELY needed size, pretty much says it all. Question answered - Knat is a non entity on this team.
The Question: what JC transfer or late recruit can miller grab that can make a difference?
Brad: My question is do you see us getting in on the T.J. McConnell transfer sweepstakes? I hear he is sort of a Sean Miller type PG from Duquesne, whose dad says he will be transferring.
The speed of the game in college is too fast for Knat. He looks like a lost kid standing in the middle of an Interstate Highway while cars are passing him at 75 MPH.....
What "IF" KNAT stated dedicating himself to speed amd weight loss? What IF...again. Wouldnt that be nice. Can it happen? Prob not. If he is a waste like thgis year and doesnt show advancement then Miller needs to cut him and not waste space.
Turner..if he comes back maybe the light bulb has gone on and he will productive; or he will end up like The Golden Child.
I for one thought Nacho had noticeable improvement in his sophomore year compared to his frosh year. I thought he was getting rebounds more frequently, clogging up the middle, playing better defense and showing much better hands towards the end of the year and in our playoff run. I think D-Will would agree with me as I watched our locker room celebration after the Texas game and Derrick came in and immediately exchanged a chest bump with Nacho.
This year, clearly, Miller gave up on him early as he was not ready and SM apparently had no interest in Nacho playing himself into game shape.
