Red/Blue Rewind: Tolbert and Lofton

There is no bigger character in Arizona basketball than Tom Tolbert, while one could argue there are few better athletes than Kenny Lofton. The two were on hand for the Red/Blue game and spoke to the media after the scrimmage.

After his two-year Wildcat career Tolbert played seven seasons in the NBA and after another year in the Spanish league, he began working for KNBR Radio in the Bay Area. He also worked as an NBA television analyst for NBC and ESPN. He recently began hosting a nationally syndicated show for CBS Sports Radio.

Lofton always felt he could have been an NBA player, but went the baseball route instead. He played 16 years in the Major Leagues and was a six-time all-star. Since his retirement from baseball he has coached and served as a postgame commentator for the Dodgers.
