Arizona has a full stable of running backs. They have shown flashes of being really good, but are they good enough.
Nice job Brad.
Very nice indeed.
My only reservation on our RBs is...are they tough enough to remain durable for the entire season?
It's hard enough for the traditional 6-2 220 tailback to take the pounding for an entire season in this conference, but for the 5-8 185 guy, it's even harder if and when 6-2 235 LBs get a straight shot at him several times over the season. It only takes once.
It's very true that many good small RBs have survived to be very good, set rushing records, and win all-conference recognition.... but it is, just that little bit harder.
Good luck to our guys....no injuries, lots of long runs. Let's get 1400.
One thing that I really like about KaDeem is ball security. I don't recall him ever putting the ball down last year. Maybe he did but I sure can't recall it.
I seem to recall him giving up 1 last year, but could be mistaken. I am thinking it came right after some announcer made a comment about him not fumbling all year.
Anything less than 1600 yards rushing will mean a poor season. And 2000-2200 should be a minimum target for the team.
