David Maka posted a message on his Facebook page earlier today that he has verbally committed to the University of Arizona.
Maka, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound two player for Tustin High School in Southern California played along the line on both sides of the football. However, sources have confirmed that Arizona's interest in Maka is along the defensive line in future seasons.
Make recently took an official visit to Kentucky on Jan. 18. He's also been receiving interest from Stanford in recent weeks. However, in the end, the promising linemen chose Arizona over offers from Kentucky, Washington, Utah and San Diego State. He also received interest from local schools USC and UCLA, as well as Pac-12 institutions California and Oregon.
