You hit on a point that I have been saying since RR was hired -- and that is that Football has the potential to be the greatest revenue generator for Arizona, eclipsing basketball. Part of it is simple math, taking the ave. ticket price for the two sports multiplying by the total number of games (8 vs 16 for instance) at home, etc. Then there are all the other sorts of ancillary income you mention.
The AD may be able to squeeze a bit more out of basketball, but there is still a considerable ceiling for football.
