From what i understand is they would nto count against the scholies for this year but they would for next year. So we would probably be full for next year or very very close to it.

Unless I am reading this wrong. I was right in that they would nto count against the 25 for this year but yext year they would. So if we add 2 players from Penn St this year next year we would only get 23 open scholarships for the 13-14 season.
Plus how does UCS add anterh player when they already have reduced ones and can not go past the 15 they are limited to the next 3 years. HMMMMM

It's accurate that they don't count against this year's headcount, and can play right away; but they would be in the total headcount for next season.
As I understand my rumor, on Friday, we will see one senior (or sophomore, can't be sure) and one RS freshman.

Theey will not count against the 25 allottment for either year but will ocunt towards the 85 total allowed which we seldom are at any ways.

Steve I agree we need LB in now! But I was only bringin up the point we are almost full with Scholarships for next year and with the RB visiting this weekend (who we all want) these 2 and the JC kid who is deciding today not sure if we have enough spots for them all. That is my only concern. It is a nice concern to have but still a concern.

As most of the players next year will still be Stoops boys, I have a feeling we will see some further attrition either because of style, lack of PT or academic issues and some of next years commits might change their minds and/or fail to qualify academically... So I say over recruit next year by 3 or 4 and lets get it on...
