Coaching Clinics- Yes!

  • UA football today hosted just over 120 coaches from more than 27 high school and junior colleges. The group represents some of Coach Rod's new network across Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California in the program's first such spring clinic.

This is a very big deal in starting up the net and showing high school and JC coaches that we want to extend recognition to them, show them a good time, and show them what we do and how. From this, they will no doubt go back and tell their players about a very good program that can be good for them.

It's a long road, but Bear Down. Keep going, coach!

Yes, in my opinion this is the "best" move Rodriguez has made to date at Arizona. My expertise is basketball and on the high school hoops level it's these coaching clinics and the newsletters coaches like Miller distribute to HS coaches that really opens the door wide for networking and future recruiting. In football, the influence is equally positive in fostering relationships.
