I had previously stated that I thought that Arizona's 2014 recruiting class could realistically have 7-10 4 star players and BP had this to say:

Not sure that I see a 700-1000% increase in 4 star recruits in 1 year. Maybe if we somehow pull out 10+ wins and play for the PAC championship, but I don't see it.
With four 4 stars in the books at the halfway point in the class and several highly rated recruits favoring Arizona, can you see it now?
I see it... You can feel the VIBE RRod has created here in the desert. We are definitely on the up swing and I see RRod taking us places we only dreamed of...
I just hope he stays here long term... If Rita and the kids like it here I don't see him moving on...
Why not Arizona? Great RRod Quote....

BEAR DOWN boys... The best is yet to come....
Why not Arizona?
I love that quote.
Bear Down Arizona
Yes, excellent quote and I'm sensing a "big" class for Arizona in 2014. When you consider the fact that there's only about 15 5-star prospects in the entire country, when you can load up on 4-stars and highly-graded 3-stars you're doing serious damage on the recruiting trail.
What would carry this class over the top is landing a 4-star OL and a 4-star DL and/or LB in the class. If Rich Rod and Casteel can get one of each the Cats will make even louder noise than they already have this early in the '14 class.

I don't see any 4star DLs or LBs on the target list. I hope there is some activity behind the scenes.
I say Natrell Curtis OL, and Jamadre Cobb LB. Maybe Marquis Ware LB.
Also, Tyler Whiley DB/WR, Jalen Brown WR, and Andrew Mike OL.
Marquis Ware and Jamardre Cobb, both 4 star linebackers. Cobb has stated that Arizona is the favorite in his recruitment and ware and Cobb are considered a package deal. Plus they are teammates and cousins of recent commit rodney Carr. Also, Naijiel Hale is good friends with them and is rooming with Cobb at the opening. He tweeted this last night:
@YoungNateDogg: In my future teammate room
Don't count out Layth Freikh either.

It's interesting that the "interest" level doesn't equate to the "crystal ball" projections.
Ex) Cobb --- UCLA/USC "Warm" Arizona "Cool" Crystal Ball Arizona 100%
Yeah, I think obviously that warm/cool column doesn't get updated as frequently since Cobb said his video interview last week that Arizona is his clear #1. I wonder how old those are?

As good as 247 has become, there are still many flaws like that. It comes off as lazy and it might be small potatoes but the little things matter. That definitely needs to updated.
Brad and I like to update the cool/warm based on information we receive through our own sources, and even then we only update about once every two weeks.
Always appreciate the feedback, though, and we'll take it into consideration. I fully agree the database is critical, but know that it's also a massive beast for us to manage and we, like you, are still getting familiar with all the upgrades and other bells and whistles.
