Here is a 247 article from the Notre Dame site about his transfer.
Any chance he comes here?

I hope not. Isn't he the kick off return fumbling ego maniac who stood up his Junior High he announced his selection of schools? There is something really off with these people, we don't need them.
His fathers math is lexdysic: “We didn’t come to Notre Dame to play football. We came to Notre Dame for the experience over the next forty years. And in the first year that he’s been there, he’s got 39 of them already done.”
Also - has any program ever considered opening a nursery? That would be a huge recruiting draw!

Sounds like he is going to UCLA.

Don't need him nor want him. He doesn't have what it takes to be a wildcat. He doesn't have any core values look at the way he made his college decision and ur tellin me he's not going to do it again? Ucla got rid of a corner(McDonald) so I say his dad wants him there instead of Az. Too much competition for him to just be given the job. So he again takes the easy way to Ucla starting job
I wonder if it would be a booster violation to provide birth control for anyone involved with a player in the program. Too many baby mamas. Cover up kids.
A Rose Bowl before I die Please!!!!
Dad is riding his kid to make himself money. I really am fine without the drama.
Why wouldn't we take him? Any little drama that could arise would really hve no affect on the team and I think that would be completely worth it if he helps us win football games. I don't see anyone saying that Kadeem shouldn't be on the team..... and look at the negative attention he has brought to himself and the team in the last few months.

I say if we wants to come, we take him... With one transfer under his belt he will have to be on his best behavior...
No one questions his talent... On either side of the ball...
BEAR DOWN boys... The best is yet to come....
I getcha Pin, but I am not sure I want his lame father anywhere near our program. They all sound like cancers who put themselves first over the team. I don't think we need him and it may be worth questioning his talent if he could barely get on the field this year.
Maybe now that young Mr. Neal is himself a father, he has learned he has to make his own decisions and Grandpa needs to take a seat in the stands and just watch...
Nahhhh... What was I thinking....
I guess we can always put Charlie Ragle on the old man to keep him in check...
Hearing Davonte and his father will be visiting Arizona on Friday.
Unless he play defense and his dad stays in Phoenix I don't want him.
Amen, brutha, daddy is bad news. Guys like that are disruptive to programs.
I'd welcome him with open arms if he chose us. He's obviously thought highly of us all along, and maybe even preferred us. It doesn't seem that his dad thinks very much of us though, first ND where the kid apparently didn't want to go, and now talking California. If he chose us, I think it means it's his choice this time instead of his overly-controlling dad's choice, which would be a good thing.
After transferring to three high schools and leaving ND after a year, I think he has to settle down now, be a good teammate and student, and just go to work wherever his next stop is. Any more drama likely means that it's pretty much over for him.
All this transferring reminds me of one recent person. JTurner, nuff said!!
The kid doesn't worry me it is his father. I am not saying he doesn't have talent I just want .ore defensive talent we have quite a few speed wide recievers I was done secondary help and some pass rushers. His dad worries me as well I don't want to find out his dad is asking for money from boosters later on down the line.
The discussion with us early on was what turned his dad off to us. Dad wants to be his manager, and our staff is smart enough to want none of it, and they were very honest about it.
Until Davonte can break from the embarrassing over-control of his dad, he will have trouble no matter where he is.
He has has talent, but is carrying an unnecessary load.
Just to play devils advocate, I wrote last year that I wouldn't been caught dead letting my parents decide which college I went to. But what if, this kid is just such a dumbass, his pops has to be so involved. i do believe no matter how talented this kids might be, there must be some mental weakness for him to be 19 and not making his own choices. Grant it, most choices you make at 19 are wrong but that’s how you learn and grow from it.
Now to the other issue, I really don't understand why people hint and use innuendo about what is most likely going on here. It is may personal opinion that Pops was and is shopping this kid around. I believe the Neals are looking for a paycheck plain and simple, that is the only way to explain their bizarre behavior. Waiting a week after signing day is a classic bargaining tactic just like they "hold out" in the NFL. If Neal ends up here and still is in cahoots with Pops, I think there might be reason to worry about the above board nature of our program.
