Devin Holiday is now in, does that mark the end of signing day? We assume Prince Holloway is not signing, so unless there is a surprise remaining, the day is done.

Got to assume they have a backup plan for Golson not signing..... Also think that David price will sign this weekend and take Alford's spot. Safety is a much bigger need than WR anyways. IMO, price is a much better pickup than Alford would have been.
The question is, woulf you trade Alford, Golson and Holloway for Maka, Price and McGee? I think I probably would, but it is close.
I'm ok with that
UA recruiting coordinator Matt Dudek's tweet minutes ago:
Sitting down reading other schools commitments...some late decommits hahaha...enjoy that nonsense, you don't have to worry about an #OKG

Love the attitude!
Tells me they knew Golson and Alford were gone. I think it is now very clear...RR was serious when he said if you go on visits you are no longer committed to UA. I think Pierre was the only one who visited another school and still enrolled and he made it clear that he was just appeasing his mother.
A couple of weeks ago you were concerned that many of us were not interested in the recruits. I think today has shown us that about a dozen of you, including the staff, have easy access to information that we don't. You also have a personal feeling about the ability of the players versus the needs of the team I just don't have.
I have enjoyed watching all of this play out.
I think I know how each of the staff feels about the day. How would you sum it up?

Just curious...I remember Stoops hit Texas hard...Did RR focus on Texas very much and if not why?
I wish the staff would have tried to make a late push at LB David Moffit who I hear was pretty high on us before heading to UNLV!!
The staff did recruit Texas, but not as hard as Stoops did. This staff put a much bigger emphasis on California, and were especially tough in San Diego.
I agree Wildcat_Brad. Pretty clear that although there was no announcement or major breakup in the past 10 days, at least the UA staff knew the writing was on the wall and treated it like water off a duck's back.
I'll trade away Texas for locking up the Greater Phoenix Area, which is something this class showed tremendous improvement in from last year's class to 2013. Stoops all but ignored the state of Arizona and as a result we saw a handful of 5-star studs completely leave the state in the last 5-6 years Stoops was on campus.
Dudek said this morning this year's class was focused in Arizona, California, Florida and Georgia.
I think they addressed the needs well. Would liked to have seen one more dline or linebacker, but they weren't just going to take any ole kid to fill the spot. Teu made it pretty clear that there is a type of kid they are after (OKG).
Ranking wise this is the best class Arizona has had since 2006. I personally think this class is stacked with impact players that all have high character and high motors.
This is just the tip of the iceberg though, because next years class will be the best ever at Arizona!
I'm quite impressed with RRod's handling of the inevitable ebbs and flows of leading a program like Arizona. This is in direct opposition to the staff up north. Todd Graham looked like a kid jilted at senior prom when Joshua Dobbs blew him off leaving ASU without one of it's highest ranked recruits and a QB for the second year in a row. Todd resisted the temptation to speak on the lost recruit for just over an hour of his press conference then broke down and said, "We lost some guys today, you're going to have that. Every guy who was supposed to sign with us other than one did." I'll give you three guesses who Todd is referring to, but you'll only need one.
The activity in recruiting won't really slow down. The staff has David Price coming Friday, and they are talking to three linebackers yet. It's hard to say if they will go ahead with one or wait. Sean Finley looks pretty good; he hits and has great range. At 6'4" and 225, he is raw and would gain 20 pounds of muscle.
Then, they are after juniors, and even sophomores.
I think the guys on here have made very good comments about this class, and have been very fair. It's a good class, and I think, will carry some positive surprises.
David Maka is going to be good. Look up his vids. He is raw. He relies on his mass and strength to get where he's going, which is toward the QB. Once he gets some of Coach Kirelawich's ballet school and technique, he is going to be very good.
We have speed and skill guys. We did not close the MLB we wanted, but- remember that the 15 LBs we have will now be one year better, bigger, and smarter about the system.
Unfortunately Sean Finley signed with South Dakota.
