He didn't just lie to the NCAA, he lied to his boss and everyone else who spoke with him on the subject (multiple times to the same people) and in doing so he knowingly violated the terms of his contract. His integrity was given up long ago in a trade with the devil to win football games. Personally, I really think the NCAA needs to spend more time punishing coaches than the schools. Violation penalties should follow a coach from school to school, IMO.

UM should be a good fit at OSU. Although how he will fare without little Timmy will be interesting to watch. I am curious to see how long the boosters, fans and alumni give UM to win a NC and what they will say when he loses a game to UM or MSU.

Not to be rude but how'd he do with Alex Smith? I'm sorry but using UM for Urban is making me sick. He has in my opinion, his whole contract, but I don't know about other fans. It's not really MSU he has to worry about it's TSUN. As long as he beats Fred Flinestone every year, I'm happy :)

Personally I think the Buckeye scandal is kind of overblown, especially when compared to the other nastiness that has happened this year. It's probably even less of a deal than what USC got busted for, and certainly not the mess that LSU/Oregon/PSU have found themselves in.

Lippert, as much admiration and respect as I have for the way the Columbus community embraces the Buckeye program, and for the rich tradition... you have to realize that coming in here and bagging on our new head coach is going to make you (and unfortunately other Ohio St fans as well) look like arrogant jerks.

Yes, we take it over the edge a lot. As for the specific term; it's Buckeyes but until next season is done. We have a black eye on our program.

UCLA stopped by Chandler HS today and offered wide receiver Javon Williams. Arizona, Oregon State & Arkansas have also come by this week.

He is favoring Oregon & Arkansas, but is giving UCLA & Arizona a closer look. He's taking an official visit to Tucson this weekend.

Oh yes,that does work in this case.

It is good to see that the Big 10/Pac 12 coalition is reaping the rewards.

We will all be focusing on future match-ups. I don't buy that Wisco is down. OSU still has a hill to climb. I never trust Michigan enough to bet on them. Penn State is just a sad, sad, story. My guess is that the Badgers or MSU will be back in Rose Bowl conversation for next year.
