P that isnotthe hold up at all with Direct. They want ot oonly carry 3 regionals and the national aand in fact have assigned channels to them once the deal is finished.

Ricky are you in Arizona? Like Lake Havasu? I haave heard different thingsonsuddenlink that they are in and then out. They may get in for Oklahoma but not anything definitive.

according to AJ Maestas Media expert hte under/pver on Direct is 30 days from launch.
That owuld be about right I expect a deal before the first big game on September 22 when USC plays CAL on the PaC 12 network.

Thehold up is Direct wants ot go parttime with the regionals and the PaC is balking. Direct has alreaddy set aside ch626 and three other channels in the 600 range for the PaC They are ch 616, 617 and 623.

Charter is apparently balking on costs. Dish is no where near a deal.

Here in Denver I have comcast at home. They have PAC12MT on HD and regular which I can watch at no additional charge right now. I am guessing that will change as soon as there is a game. But the only have PAC12 national on regular (nonHD) and i am not allowed to watch that. I do not see PAC12AZ in the line up yet. Still waiting for DirecTV since i watch all the games with the Alumni Group and not at home.

I know I'm stating the obvious here, but you can expect bumps on the roll-out.

So, Jim, I really have nothing at this point other than it is the SSDD when coming to providers.

The network backbone (cable and satellite) looks enviously at the successful businesses (Google and Microsoft) that uses their equipment to make a profit. The successful internet service content providers (Google and MS) make a case that competition will be stifled without their presence. The consumer gets screwed in the end while these long-standing philosophies are sorted out.
