A Rose Bowl before I die Please!!!!
I am still baffled at why we don't court Kansas.Yes, I get that football is everything, but pull KU out and the Big 12 falls over.
"Arizona has no tradition" - Bill Walsh
"We have a tradition of kicking Bill Walsh's ass" - Teddy Bruschi
WK once Kansas and the other Big 12 members sign the new agreement there is no backing out and going elsewhwere for the life of the contract. The penalty is forfeiting all past and future revenues for the life of the contract. Once this deal is in place all are in for the life of the contract until 2025. Even under the current Big 12 deal they cannot leave until 6 years so all of these teams are off as for us. When the Big 12 expands to 12 or m ore they will have the richest Tier 1 and 2 deal although the PAC 12 third tier may make us number 1 overall since the Big 12 allows each school to keep their Tier 3 revenues which will vary from a low of almost nothing for Texas Tech up to 15 million for Texas.
Riight now four conferences are untouchable Big 10, Big 12, SEC and PAC. None of these lose members going forward.
