Red Helmets?

    I can't wait for the new Silver Helmets with sage green metallic highlights. Sage green tops and silver pants, accented by the silver Nike shoes.

    LOL ya actually I think I said that I would like to see all red, but in some very microscopic way I would like to think that it was partly my idea and GB was reading my article and wast just taking que from my innovative ideas. Okay maybe not!

  • Also you guys might hate it but it's happening, so if they are going to do several alternative uniforms (which they are) then what do you guys want? What will satisfy you? At least these helmets are school colors, which I believe was a major complaint initially.

    Canyon, I would like to see no red (Cardinal) other than trim. Navy and white, and all white are not worn much or by any team west of the Mississippi. Also, stick to the white helmets and bring the copper ones out for special occasions.

    Red in the stands from the fans is what I would like to continue.

    I also would like to see merits on the helmets make a comeback. Perhaps make them look like scratches.

    While on the subject, why not incorporate fireworks after every AZ score. A TD would set off a volly of six explosive shells (non-flare). Extra point....one extra shell.

  • All white teams in the west I can think of are Texas, Utah State, Cal's alternate, one of Oklahoma State's 50 unis and Arizona.

    Baylor I think does all white as well. I too love the sticker idea and I like the scratches or making them look like dents or bullet holes, okay not bullet holes that's inappropriate but you get the effect I am getting at. I also think all navy uniform, helmets, and jerseys with red trim and NO white would be really cool as well.

  • I am a traditionalist and want to see us stick to the Cardinal and Navy with White. I don't like all red, especially since our teams seem to have an awful record in those colors. I wouldn't mind a red helmet with a blue and white uni, especially for a Labor Day weekend game, after all America is Wildcat Country. I also would not mind an OCCASIONAL Copper helmet appearance, maybe with all white Unis. I also do not mind a nostalgic Sage and Silver look once in a while.

  • Copper, Red, Silver helmets, will all be fine additions, but it must be done with the right contrasting schemes.

    Most of you have no clue what you're talking about fashion wise, so it is good that you have no input into the process.

    Just relax, don't try to do this at home. It's OK for you to have an opinion, but most of your ideas just serve to highlight how much better I am at this than you are.

    Bear Down is on the field where is should be, not on unis. And the brothers mentioned helmet stickers. Smith did that and it sucked. Truly sucked. Too cluttered.

    Stick with photo shop, Brad, and Canyon, no dice.
