Are these common exercises for the first day? Suicides, obviously, but a lot of these things seems like they were team building exercises as much as physical workouts.

Ohhh, yeah. Unit integrity, teamwork, quickness, soft hands, pride, competitiveness, and coordination.
I like the drills a lot, because they are real teaching aids as well as conditioning.
At my age I have to be careful, but this makes me want to get back out there.

Holy crap that looked like a ton of fun, except it looked like a few guys may have been close to monkey chunk time...........

Calm is a state of mind. Snow in Jerusalem, rain in Tel Aviv, and tomorrow at some point they say the sun will come out so maybe I will get a couple of hours out on the water.
