I have to give it up to the Wildcat faithful. They were simply incredible at the Pac-12 Tournament. Honestly, there were more Arizona fans in attendance (I'm sort of guessing) than all other 11 conference schools combined throughout the weekend.
The fans at the games were loud and energetic throughout the CU and UCLA games. In the casino, it was just a sea of red at the gambling tables and in the sports books. The pools were packed with guys and gals in UA hats. The hotel bars and restaurants were filled with people in UA gear.
In short, I can't ever remember walking anywhere in the MGM hotel and not seeing an Arizona shirt or hat every step I took.
For those considering a future trip to the conference tournament, it was as good as any official NCAA Tournament event I've ever been to at a tournament host site. The atmosphere was electric and it was because of the mass presence of Wildcat fans. I highly recommend everyone tries to go next season.
Also, I saw and spoke with many of the fans, but a special shout out to our own Ranger123 (WSR VIP member for a long, long time).
I got to speak with Ranger during halftime of the UCLA/UA game and he's a fantastic guy. A true Wildcat for sure. Bear Down, Ranger, and I'll call you soon. As you can imagine, last night's post game was incredibly hectic for me.

Thanks for the information.
Scott is a genius for creating the Vegas venue and this will only build. The Pac looks like it is going to get uber competitive. Many great schools, coaches, and programs.
YES, i you want to get people to go there, you must go where the hookers are.
A Rose Bowl before I die Please!!!!
I didnt watch the fuclaloss.....saw a highlight and saw no RED. Was there ant AZ fans there? I wouldnt go.
UNDEFEATED :)) From UTAH and ON>>>>>>>
UCLA's band was under the UCLA basket in the second half. I'm guessing the highlights were on UCLA's end of the floor. There were two top to bottom sections of UCLA fans opposite the Arizona bench. The rest of the arena (all other sections) were full read from top to bottom with some blue sprinkled in. Easily 10:1 ratio of UA to UCLA fans.
Zip, were you referring to the Championship game? There were some red shirts in places. THey even mentioned it on the telecast. They said something along the lines of there are even some Arizona fans in attendence now that shows their love of college basketball.
So i am guessing it was more then just a few. Plus with Jason Gardner getting honored last night at halftime I think some were there just to support him.
