He'll make a summer team for sure, but that's about it for now. I could see Lavender finding success in the D-League and then getting a chance down the road because he works so hard and is a deadly shooter.

I've said this long and hard, in the NBA if you're "great" at one thing you'll always have a spot on an NBA roster. Now that he's out of school and can literally work on his jump shot 8 hours a day, my guess is Lavender can evolve into a great shooter.

he needs to get some arc on that J. His shot is too flat. That being said, he's a more than solid outside shooter. If he can continue to improve his shooting, with his size, he may have a chance.
