So far all three teams that have played have won to include two count them two 12 seeds (first time that has ever happened). I guess for now we will take the kudos from Sir Charles.
I didn't think they could do it but glad to see Cal make it to the next round. They have a history of struggling in the tourney. Great to see the Pac12 showing well. I knew they would. Too bad UCLA lost Adams...thought they could have made a deep run. Watch Colorado...bad matchup for Miami. I think they'll get to the sweet 16.
I think it was obvious to all of us who watched the Pac-12 Conference games this season that the league was loaded with talent and potential. I expect wins from Colorado and UCLA tomorrow as well. Bruins could be shaky without Adams, but I think UCLA will get enough out of Shabazz for one game before they bow out in the second round.
Great stuff from Zona, Cal and Oregon today.

Cal brought quite the crowd due to close proximity, an advantage that a 12 seed should not get.
I loved how Monty learned how to foul when up 3 finally.
Yes, the proximity thing was pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Seems that the NCAA Selection Committee really botched that one even though UNLV is an hour flight to the Bay Area.
I too liked Cal fouling late, but disagreed with Monty "freezing" his own foul shooter up by 3 points and calling a timeout before Cobbs got his second free throw. Regardless, it worked.
