that led to double technicals.
My buddy who is a college ref did not see that part of the game, and I usually ask him about those calls. But I thought that was one of the most obviously horrible calls in a long time.
The rule is not that your feet must be set. The rule is that you establish position and Ashley was well established, IMO. Textbook charging.
Anyone else see that differently?

No, I saw the same. Bad call to go with several others.
I thought that it was a bad call initially, but on the replay it appears that Ashley unnecessarily leaned to his right just a bit. I say unnecessarily because the collision would have occurred without the lean...
it gave the scummies a lot of momentum, it would have been a 40 point blowout if we had gotten that call, as for the call itself it could have gone either way and I agree Ashely moving was not needed. He does not make that mistake next year.
AGree...bad call....charge for sure
Horrible call on Ashley. He was more set then any of the scummies who drew charges yesterday. And geez, how many travels did the refs miss?!?
Time to nut up or shut up
Look, I'm generally not jumping on the refs are bad bandwagon, but he travel were incredibly obvious, too. Good point.
