I had a pretty strong feeling that we would be top five pre-season.
We all study the ESPN hype machine and anytime your recruiting ranking jumps +20 based on one commit (Gordon), the national pre-season expectations are going to follow.
I'm not sure I actually believe that we are top five till we get some more news back McConnell. We are going to need more veteran leadership than just NJ.
Kentucky at number one? What? When does it stop?
How is Michigan not ranked. They return everyone except Burke.....
First off this is Myron "I Don't know Shit" Metcalf....
But they are assuming that Burke, Hardaway, Robinson III and McGary all leave for the NBA...
BEAR DOWN boys... The best is yet to come....
this pretty much means it was a joke...
Fifteen others to watch: Arizona State, Boise State, Butler, BYU, Kansas State, Michigan, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, St. John's, UCLA, Villanova, Virginia, Wisconsin.
Well that guy is fired he put Arizona above Duke we all know that is a firable offense at ESPN.
I would not be surprised if they lose a lot more in the nesmxt few days. If they lose the core they will struggle next season.
No way all of them go pro..... Maybe hardaway joins Burke, but he can't even create his own shot unless the guy guarding him is smaller. Michigan will be ranked top 10 next season.
I gave you an upvote anyway.
I worry about the I.Q. and sanity of anyone who ranks the lil forkers in the top 1,000,000 in anything.

Actually it's Jason "I know less then Myron" King that did this.
I'm not putting much stock into this. Top 5 sounds nice, but I'll wait for someone more credible to punch an early ranking list out.
Time to nut up or shut up
mea culpa.... but Brennan and Dedcalf were the two in the video...
Maybe the fact that asu is even mentioned will keep sendek there for a while longer...
Their next coach will be worse then Herbie, they had a tiny window during our times of troubles to make an impact and that window is now shut.
There is at least one eastern writer this morning to believes the first four on that list are it:

The CBS list is very good considering it was supposedly done last night at a Waffle House.

Regardless of who anyone loves to hate, Arizona is a bona fide Top 10 team next year and that should get people excited.
so true, I don't want to wait until next year though!
NBC Sports has Az at #2
Sporting News has Az at #3
Oh and btw, all of them have Michigan in the top 25 except the terrible ESPN one.
I do not think Calipari can handle 14 McAll Americans and their big EGOS....they will be better 2012-13.... But they will jot be a number 1
