Hey WK, while I enjoy your posts as they are always entertaining, you are still having difficulty with your adjectives. In particular Owns and Impatient. I still can't give you owns as an accurate analysis of the Miller/Romar relationship. Miller will not go 0-3 next year v. Romar. Romar is going to lose both Wroten and Ross to the draft this year. If we still had DW and Momo, players Miller recruited, we absolutely crush UW this year. To be fair, you need to give Miller another 3 years in this debate. If you do, I am still willing to make that bet with you that Miller has a winning record v. Romar after 6 full seasons.
Anyway, I will take a losing record to UW and go to the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 every year versus having Romar as our coach, winning the PAC 12 Tourney ever year and exiting the Dance in round 1 or 2 every year.
Finally calling you impatient is like calling Tucson a little warm in August. Bro you need to smell the roses now and again.

points taken. Seems to me we are too willing to just give up and accept that UW has the better team, coach, etc...this year was supposed to be different and it wasn't. DWill was 2-3 against the huskies, so if the freshmen coming in are lottery pick level talent, we still won't beat them based on past history.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Up vote.
I give Romar a lot of credit. However, his style, while it works is also the very reason why Washington can't win big games in the NCAA Tournament. UW basically plays an aggressive brand of basketball that relies on grabbing, pushing, shoving, checking, leaning, chest bumping, reaching and on and on. The officials can't call every foul against Washington, but they should.
All you have to do is watch back the UW/UA game from this weekend. Every time Fogg put the ball on the floor he was either grabbed off balance or pushed off balance which was just enough to allow the help defense to rotate at him before getting off a shot.
It's a style of play Romar adopted from day one with Nate Robinson and it hasn't stopped. I don't blame him. Other schools employ this tactic, notably any team coached by Bob Huggins.

The reason why Romar can't win the big games is precisely becuase of what gary said. in the pac10/12, he is getting away with murder out there. In the NCAA Tourney, they have the best officials working the games. One thing no one has mentioned is that we have a really bad travel team pretty much every season. do you think that WSU or UW prepared for ASU at all? I bet that they studied UofA all week, and UW rested "DURING" the ASU game. This happens to us every year except while James Harden was at ASU. WSU may be bad, but they look amazing compared to ASU. And WK keeps saying we don't have a big... well, we do, but he sucks. I think the major recruiting problem was not Millers 1st season, but his 2nd season. all we got was Mayes and Perry out of that class. He needed to get 1 more big, but wasn't able to get one. he more than has made op for that next year, because we legitimately have 3 chances with big guys next year. 7Ft Zues, 6'10" Jerrett, and 6'9" Ashley. all we need is one to be ready to play next year, and 2 to be servicable with Chol more than likely making a huge skill jump next season. I'd take next years team over what anyone else in tha pac12 has S-SHill S-KParrom J-Mayes So-Turner So-Johnson So-Chol Fr-Tarc Fr-Jarrett Fr-Ashley Fr-York I left Knat out cause he probably won't be back next year. That's 3 upperclassmen, 3 sophmores who see good minutes as freshmen, and 4 stud freshman, who if 2 are as good as advertized, we should have a deep, deep experienced team like we haven't had since 05.
