Thank you Pastner

  • Feeling "richer" thanks to Josh and the 'Honey Line'. For those who think Pastner is the saving grace, think again.

No, that ruined my bracket for sure. I had Missouri in the Elite Eight in one pool and in the Final Four in another. I will say that the entire book was rooting for Norfolk once it became obvious Mizzou wasn't covering that big line.

The funniest thing is we were trying to figure out where Norfolk St. was, completely ignoring the fact that Norfolk is a monster naval base in Virginia.

  • The hampton roads area of virginia is now home to 2 fifteen seeds over two's. Hampton being the first. This area is also home to old dominion. I lived there for 3 yrs. great place.

Nice, love ODU. I'll say this, I really like Pastner as a coach and he's going to do great things. However, last night, and even last year when Miller/Arizona beat Memphis, we saw the value of an experienced coach. This is a lot like what Miller faced against Sendek in that horrific 87-80 loss to ASU two weeks ago. As much as I like Miller, there's no doubt good old Sendek taught his former student a serious lesson. Last night, Pastner also got schooled by Majerus.

The key is for the younger coaches like Pastner and Miller to continue to learn from each and every experience/game situation.
