OK, there is something I just don't get about the over seas trips....why on earth are the programs spending so much cash to not play any games? UCLA went or is going or is in China and they are scheduled to play 3 games. Seems like a huge waste of time and effort - if you just want to bond, rent a cabin in Tahoe and sing kumbaya around a camp fire.
If you go overseas to play some ball... play some ball. Play two games per day and split the squad up... get some real experience for the players. Well at least UCLA won;t have the benefit if integrating Shabazz and only a 1 game advantage over us.
Didn't we play like 10 or 15 game in Australia one year? Seems like the star reported on that trip for two solid weeks and there were new scores and different teams/different cities every day. Anyone recall?
