Who is your favorite team in the tourney...NCAA

  • Who do you want to win it all.
And who is your favorite team?

For sure am pulling for Josh to kick some real arse on Fatjerus of St louis

Who will win it all? hard to go against Kentucky...they have it all. ut if the meet a faster team that hits thier shots they may falter
And I want COLORADO to represent us and go far into the tourney.

  • I am looking for CAL and CO to represent the PAC well with at least Sweet 16's. Maybe even sneak in an elite 8. Then I want to see an all PAC NIT final between UA and UW.

CU's draw is pretty brutal though. UNLV, Baylor, Puke. The committee did them no favors.

Besides PAC, I will pull for CO St, Iona (Momo), The Memphis Pastners, St Mary's, SDSU, kind of like Vandy too and of course anyone playing Puke or Kansas or Kentucky. Mostly want to see the west do well.

  • Anybody but Rat Face and Puke.

  • actually haven't even looked at a bracket. depressed

  • I LOVE watching Long Beach State play. Also like the three MWC teams. Of the big boys, I am probably pulling for Mizzou (don't tell my dad who grew up a Jayhawks fan).

  • I'll be rooting for the Pac-12 schools. I don't expect much out of them though. Honestly, by the end of the season, I thought UW was the best team in the conference. Since they're not in the tournament, I don't really know what to expect. I guess I always kinda root for western schoos, so I'll prob be pulling for St Marys, Gonzaga, UNLV, New Mexico, New Mexico State. Don't really care too much about the tournament this year, so I prob won't watch too many games.

  • I don't think Memphis survives the first round...again.

Like Ben J I'll be pulling for the west schools, including Cal and Colorado.

Missouri is the one school that I do want to go far, though.

  • I have Missouri in my F4.

Can't say that I feel the west will represent too well either. The only teams I have advancing into the 2nd round are UNLV, UNM, SDSU although I think St.Mary's should beat Purdue and Indiana could possibly be stunned by NMSU. I also think Cal sneaks by South Florida in the play in game.

I'm as disapointed as the next guy but this is still my favorite time of year! March Madness starting up!! Cant wait for the Dance to get rolling,

Time to nut up or shut up

  • I'm a college hoops fanatic, so after getting over the depression of our Cats being out of it, I still love the tournament. In fact, I'm very excited at how the West Regional sets up as I'll be attending the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games here in Phoenix.

As far as favorite teams, I was a very big Louisville fan growing up, anyone remember Dr. Dunkenstein, Darrell Griffith? My dad was friends with a big booster of Cardinal basketball when I was a kid and every Christmas I would get a box from him with shirts, posters, etc. from Louisville. I'll be cheering for them. My other school is Michigan St. as both my parents graduated from there.

I'm with TewaWildcaT on this. I'm excited for March Madness. As far as west schools, the Pac-12 will go down early. Yes, we were one of the worst major conferences ever in basketball this year. UNLV will crush Colorado, and I expect South Florida to beat Cal. I do believe St. Mary's and the Mountain West schools outside of Colorado St. have a decent shot at winning some games.

  • Tewa - I recognize and honor your College Hoops fan-dom.

I printed a bracket and picked up a pen and was so depressed that I could not fill out one single pick.

I am not a gracious loser, good sport or any of that and it's just too hard to be excited about anyone wining if not AZ.

Obviously I root for the PAC-12 (unless it was ASU, in which case I would root for anyone playing them), Pastner Gonzaga (Love Few and the West) and Michigan State (love Izzo).

I have no idea who will win it all, but it sure seems to me that at the most elite (say top 10-12 teams) level there is a bit more parity this year than previously.

We better report you to the NCAA...I'm sure you broke some sort of rule

  • That's easy, I'm pulling hard for Memphis. Josh is a friend of mine so I'm hoping they get out of the first round so I can go see him in Phx. BTW Gary, I've watched every single Memphis game this yr (along w/ alot of other CUSA games and UA would beat southern miss fwiw) and they will beat SLU by 10+ pts.

I am pulling for an MU vs KU NCAA Final. With this being Mizzou's last year in the Big12 and the ultra contentious way both games ended this year... Not to mention the fact that KU didn't give everyone the tiebreaker that they wanted in the Big12 Tournament Final by failing to make it that far... I am pulling for a border war Championship.

It will be freaking armageddon out here if that happens.

  • Since I tend to live in my own little world anyway, I am still holding onto hope and wishing for a way for Arizona to win the whole thing...............simply put, I will find it hard to watch any college bball until next fall. The season is done.

  • I'm pulling for alma maters of good friends, collegues and family:

    Michigan State (friend and neighbor)
    Mizzou (friend & collegue)
    Georgetown (friend & neighbor)
    Ohio State (friend)
    Syracuse (friend)
    Lehigh (friend and former collegue)
    Iona (2 friends & 2 collegues)
    Creighton (brother's alma mater)
St. Bonaventure (friend & neighbor whom I haven't seen since his divorce)
    Texas (neice matriculating there)
    Notre Dame (friend & neighbor)

I, however, would love to see a regular season rematch of Xavier vs. Cincinnati in the final:

  • A lot of you seem to think MYSZERE is going to go to the Final 4
    That is my dark horse
I really dont think the PAC will NOT get past first round or second round or whatever round these idiots in the NCAA changed it to.
Cal will get out of the Bonus then lose. Colorado has to put up a very good Offense in UNLV. Check their stats. 2nd in the nation in team assists. AND, don't forget, they beat NOrth Carolina early.
