1-0 Cats. Farris throwing some heat in the bottom of the third, then covers first on a grounder to get out of the inning. Very nice.

Farris out-hustled the SC batter to barely get the inning closer out at first. A half step slower and he would be safe.

Refsnyder with a single up the middle. Field had a good AB just to keep moving that pitch count up.
Seriously though, that diving catch to rob Meija was clutch from Adam Mathews.

Two great plays by SC to get out of the inning. First the diving catch then a scoop and swoop play by the shortstop in the hole to get Mejias-Brean at first. Still 1-0 Cats entering bottom of the 4th.

Farris finally gives up a hit but Cats out of the inning.
It was kinda of nice to slow it down to baseball speed for that inning.
SC needs a couple "seeing-eye dogs to go through" as according to the coach. Classic.

That ump just decided to expand the outside of the zone... that 3rd strike to Maggi and the first pitch to Moore we both 10 inches out side... Lets hope he gives us that call too...

Farris is pretty much throwing heat. I think he caught SC by surprise with his current one hit shutout. I did offer a link over on their (BigSpur) site that explained his last game was a CG against Louisville.
Looks like Roth is settling in again. Cats go three up and three down.

Noticed that off the top of the first....the ump has been keeping that zone consistent....by now the players know where HIS strike zone is.
