Are you kidding me right now? Not only is Arizona hammering another pitching staff for the third straight NCAA game, the glove work has been special too.
Hi-Corbett has evolved into a tremendous home field advantage with the hard pan infield and the deep fences and vast outfield.
Bring on St. John's! Next weekend should be an incredible scene.

And we head to the top of the eighth still 13-1.
If I heard the announcers correctly, the NCAA tournament record for most runs scored in a series was 43 by TCU...in four games .I need to fact check that.
Bobby Brown is up.
Edit: For this series. TCU laid out Dayton this tournament 28-12. A good case for the mercy rule? Nah that goes to Nebraska who beat Chicago State 50-3 in 1999.

Mejia just fielded one of those high choppers and nailed the runner at first; a play that has absolutely gobbled up the Louisville and Mizzou shortstops. Nice job Mejia!

Sweet Caroline playing in the background during the late pitching change by the Cardinals. I was under the impression that we were not allowed to show home favoritism in the NCAA tournament (on the link jump).

Gary, the defense has been just outstanding this series, and especially this game.
We seem to know the turf well and are bringing it on both sides of the game.

Just walked in the door from 3 days of doing a little mountain climbing with my son and grandson. Obviously The softball networks of Ashton and Blueleaf have pulled the Cats through the first weekend.
We finish this inning and then get ready for next weekend and St Johns. Go Cats. Go Broadcasters.

Sleep, Ibupropen (but not much at this age,) A long hot soak. But the best thing is still having your wife say "you poor baby" and giving you a good rubdown with anything that has the word "hot" in it. The hard part are days two and three when you get out of a sleeping bag and just try to walk. The other thing is quality shoes because bad feet and old age are the only thing that really stops you. Can't do much for old age.
